Human being cannot live without food. It is essential for health and life. But it is a matter of great sorrow that food is often adulterated in Bangldesh. Food adulteration means the process of making food by mixing another substances or chemical which made the food less pure and harmful for human body. Nowadays food adulteration is a serious problem in our country. In hotels and restaurants stale and rotten foods are mixed with fresh food and served to the customers. Fish and vegetables are adulterated by putting on them chemicals and other preservatives in order to make them look fresh and long lasting. Bakery and confectionery products are also adulterated by using toxic substances. Junk food contains harmful chemicals. Even fruits, milk and beverages are also adulterated . In fact, all kinds of foods and food articles are adulterated by dishonest and greedy businessmen for a quick and unearned profit. Adulterated foods are a serious health hazard. They cause many fatal diseases like cancer and even death. Food adulteration has become an alarming problem in our country. Dealing in adulterated food is a great crime. So the government should takes necessary steps to solve the issue so that people of Bangladesh may live long happily.

Food is one of the major important essential for human health and life. But the food we eat must be pure and fresh. In present time food is adulterated. Food adulteration means making food less pure by adding or mixing another substance with it. The main reasons of food adulteration is the greed of some dishonest businessmen. They want to increase their revenue at one night. Since profit of business is more important than mortality, it is possible to add the poisoning substance to the food. They usually mix chemical substance for reducing manufacturing cost, preserve food items for a long time. But after eating those adulterated food, people become sick and arrive near death. This adulterated foods creates a lot of health problems such as liver damage disease, kidney diseases, atherosclerosis and heart disease. Criminals have to be identified and should be punished so that they can never imagine to do this types of work.
